You read books with masterful magicians being able to summon elemental creatures from earth, wind, water and fire and minor creatures from these entities i.e. rock/boulder elemental as lesser earth creatures.

So why not in Gw? I think it would make the elementalist character much more interesting personally

Oh and more different types of minion too for the necro! 2 types is not a variety its somewhat of a let down, lets see some proper zombies and skeletons maybe even ghosts popping up in places!

This idea has been suggested before, and it's one I like.
However, giving the elementalist these would make the elementalist way too powerful. If any class had 'elementals', it should be a new one, unless if the elementals were given to the elementalist other aspects of the class were tuned down.(which would probably be a bad thing)
I'm not really sure that necros need more of a variety of minions.

ahh yep my first post =]

urm i think minions could be less constructs and more zombiefied characters or creatures rather than ripped out spleens and stuff, maybe more variety in form rather than actual rules.

i so agree on that note raising the dead shouldn't bring out the same thing every time you do it they should come up with afew skins and make it random
